JANUARY CAR SHOWS
STL Auto Show
As mentioned above, the biggest auto event of the year happens the first month of the year. This upcoming year, it's slated to occur from January 22nd - 25th, 2026.
Come to St. Louis' Convention Center, America's Center, for the ultimate car show! Families and enthusiasts will enjoy the onslaught of entertainment, as well as hundreds of cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles to admire. You'll see models from 20 different manufacturers, including Ford. Learn about exciting technological and safety developments and behold the luxury of high-end vehicles. Children will love seeing professionals drift, partaking in the indoor zipline, and partying in the FREE Ultimate Kid's Zone. St Louis RV Travel Show
Flock to the STL RV Travel Show on January 30th - February 1st, 2026 to see the newest technology and designs. Held at America's Center Convention Complex in the heart of St. Louis, it's a great opportunity to check out parts and accessories and learn about fun travel destinations. As one of the largest shows of its kind in the country, it provides ample opportunity to connect with fellow RV-owners and perhaps even buy one of the 300+ models available for purchase. From motorhomes to truck campers, expect a full range to roll into Downtown St. Louis for this wintertime car show.

APRIL CAR SHOWS
Import Face-Off
M&H Tires IMPORT FACE-OFF is the largest and longest-running national import show and race series in the U.S. Touring the country, it rolls into Madison, Illinois, just 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis, on April 12, 2026.
Witness exciting drag races and cool cars galore! Past events have included "crank it up" competitions, burnout contests, and low-car limbo. Enjoy DJs and a variety of vendors, as well as the chance to vote for winners of awards like "Best Engine Bay," "Best Paint/Finish," and "Best Euro." Take note: this auto show cultivates a party-like atmosphere that may be more fitting for adults than for children.

Concours D'Elegance Car Show
As of October 2025, new dates for the next St. Louis-area Concours D'Elegance Car Show have not been established. Historically, this event has taken place in April, but many details for the upcoming show remain to be determined. We recommend checking this link as April 2026 approaches to confirm the date and time.
That said, we're very excited about the Concours D'Elegance Car Show! Visitors can spend the afternoon admiring hundreds of antique cars, celebrating the rich history of the Horseless Carriage Club of America in St. Louis. It's a true step back in time to the roads of the early 20th century.
MAY CAR SHOW
Loafer's Car Club Car Show
As of October 2025, the dates for the 2026 Loafers Car Show in historic downtown Hannibal have not been established. Typically held in May, this event transforms Main Street with an extensive display of more than 350 vehicles across over 30 car classes. Organized by the not-for-profit Loafers Car Club, the show aims to give back to the community while preserving the legacy of historic and unique automobiles. The event is free and open to the public, while those interested in showcasing their vehicles can register for a fee by contacting the provided number. This car show is located about two hours from St. Louis, right along the Great River Road, one of the many scenic drives we recommend in the area.
Firebirdfest
First organized as a small celebration with 140 Firebirds, it has grown to welcome Firebird, Formula, and Trans Am owners and fans from around the country. The gathering takes place from May 14 to 17, 2026 and focuses on building community, celebrating all generations of these cars, and providing memorable experiences rather than trophies or formal judging.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy scenic cruises, live music, and visits to some of St. Louis's iconic landmarks. The schedule features unique activities such as the FF Poker Run, guided tours at the Gateway Classic Cars Museum, laps on a real NASCAR track, the ever-popular Grafton Ferry River Jump, and opportunities to meet influential Pontiac designers. Above all, FirebirdFest is committed to making a difference for local causes, including raising funds for the Fallen Patriots College Fund to support the children of fallen military members.

Route 66 Cars and Guitars Festival
Just minutes from downtown St. Louis in Kirkwood, this lively event celebrates classic cars and great music with activities for the whole community. Festival-goers can look forward to a full day of vintage vehicles, live performances, and entertainment, with the car show serving as a highlight in the evening. St. Louis European Auto Show
As of October 2025, the dates for the 2026 St. Louis European Auto Show have not yet been published. Typically held in June, this event-presented by STL Motorcars-brings hundreds of impressive European cars and trucks to the Midwest, featuring renowned brands such as Ferrari, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Bugatti, Porsche, and Lamborghini. AUGUST CAR SHOW
22nd Annual Boone Trail Corvette Club Charity Car Show
Planning is still underway on this next St. Louis Car Show; as of October 2025, the date for 2026 is still TBD.
The Annual Boone Trail Corvette Club Charity Car Show, located in St. Peters, MO, just 40 minutes from downtown St. Louis, is not just a showcase of exquisite Corvettes but a charitable endeavor. For example, last year, the car show benefitted the Tree House of Greater St. Louis. Attendees can anticipate an exciting day as awards will be presented in various categories, including distinctions for different Corvette models. Adding to the excitement, the event features 50/50 drawings and basket raffles, creating a dynamic atmosphere for enthusiasts and supporting a noble cause.
SEPTEMBER CAR SHOW
Kicks on 66 Ultra Car Show & Cruise
As of October 2025, the 2026 date for the next Kicks on 66 Ultra Car Show & Cruise has yet to be determined. Held at Ray M. Schon Park in Glen Carbon, IL-just under 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis-this event welcomes all types of vehicles, from exotics to muscle cars, offering something for every automotive enthusiast. All British Car & Cycle Show - St. Louis
Traditionally held on the third Sunday in September at scenic Creve Coeur Lake, this St. Louis-area event brings together more than 150 British cars and motorbikes, spanning a wide range of eras. Please note that 2026 dates have yet to be finalized, as of October 2025.
In past years, festivities have kicked off the day before the main show, when the MG Club of St. Louis hosts a lakeside BBQ. Guests gather to enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and great company as they connect with fellow car enthusiasts and their families, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend.

2026 AUTO SHOWS IN CITIES NEAR ST. LOUIS
There's no topping the convenience of attending an event a short distance from home. However, an auto show can be a great excuse for a quick getaway to a neighboring city.
Midwest Speed Expo
Start the year at the Midwest Speed Expo in Springfield, IL; previously held in January, the 2026 dates have yet to be confirmed as of October 2025.
Previously held at the impressive ORR BUILDING at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, just inside Gate 9, this 39,000-square-foot event is packed with racing gear and everything motorsports enthusiasts could want. With the DIRTcar Championship Awards Banquet happening nearby, the show draws a large crowd of racers, making it a hotspot for the racing community.
World of Wheels
Scheduled for March 20-22, 2026, in Kansas City, the World of Wheels showcases an impressive array of custom-built vehicles, including hot rods, antiques, imports, and more. Attendees can meet professional racers and celebrities, enjoy live stunt demonstrations, and take part in exciting raffles. This event welcomes car enthusiasts of all ages and promises plenty of thrills for the whole family.

The Depot Exeter Auto Show
Historically held in August, the Depot Exeter Auto Show is free to all, inviting families to partake in BBQ and taco food trucks, as well as a wide variety of cars, including antique models. This community-oriented car event is located four hours from St. Louis. As of October 2025, the 2026 dates remain TBD.
Indianapolis Auto Show
In past years, thousands flocked to the Indiana Convention Center for the country's second-oldest auto show; in fact, past years' shows were estimated to have 25,000 attendees. Participants enjoyed interactive exhibits, as well as sneak peeks into groundbreaking technologies and futuristic designs.
Now, you can partake in the fun! Make the weekend trip to Indianapolis on March 27th - 29th, 2027, to partake in one of the Mid-West's best car shows.
